For his next trick Jean Jullien will be trying his hand at town planning, architecture and construction by creating a small village on the ceiling! Not only will there be houses of different sizes, colours and shapes, but it will all be hanging the wrong way up! This man doesnt do things by quarters!
1st March – 19th April
Putting his perfectionist skills to good use (and his trusted colour wheel), Mr Penfold intends to make The Frontroom hum with lines of clashimentary colour.
Amongst the lines, characters will be loitering with intent, interacting with the undeviating forms and generally enjoying their stay.
14th December – February 12th
Drawing from his own personal exprience Tinhead plans to bring motor racing to The Frontroom. Filling it to the brim with old imagery, sounds, videos and typography. Re building and creating moving objects within a haze of maths and physics. *”It will be sheer erect drama, penetrated right into the pussy of your living room, it will smell of oil, fuel and exhaust and at times it will be very loud.”
18th Sep – 30th Oct
Whilst in The Frontroom, Mathew intends to use the process of photocopying to produce wonderfully elaborate and ornate landscapes. Mathew has a fascination with all that is lo-fi and creates the noticeable from the unnoticed. Everyday life is explored and reencountered through simple lines, heartfelt words and grafted mock-ups, none of which are ever ashamed of their flaws and mistakes. Intrigued?
