Luke Drozd

10th July – 31st July

Within The Frontroom Luke intends to create sculptural and 2D works, sprung from ideas of collecting and collections, transforming these findings into something vital and new.
Where museums may answer questions or attempt to make sense of their findings, these new works try to draw comparisons without offering definitives or truths. Inseparable from notions of collecting and nostalgia, the works created attempt to rewrite the social and personal histories of the objects, in an endeavour to shake off previous associations and to see things anew, to glimpse views from unlikely angles.
